Tyrosine Kinase

Tyrosine kinases are a large family of kinase enzymes that phosphorylate tyrosine residues and play a crucial role in numerous cellular regulatory processes. Many mutations of tyrosine kinases are associated with diseases such as cancer, psoriasis, and osteoporosis. Significant amount of efforts have been directed toward the development of tyrosine kinase inhibitors for therapeutic purposes.
